This
is one of only five cars ever made, with each of those being unique
in some way.
The
288 GTO Evoluzione was used as a test-bed platform for development of
the F-40 in 1988 and you can plainly see the way this car forms the
gap in evolution between the 288GTO and F-40 supercar.
Fair
enough, it's not the prettiest Ferrari ever (looking a bit like an eroded
brick!), but for pure functoin over style it certainly takes the crown.
Without it the supercar war would be different these days, i'm sure.
